Family Photography

Fresh 48 Newborn Photography
Document all those first moments with your new baby! This relaxed session takes place in the hospital within the first 48 hours after your infant’s birth. Only available for 1 hour sessions or longer.

In-Home Newborn Photography
This relaxed and easy session takes place in the comfort of your home. Only available for 1 hour sessions or longer.

15 minute mini session – 10 professionally retouched photos for $100
30 minute session – 25 professionally retouched photos for $175
1 hour session – 50 professionally retouched photos for $300
2 hour session – 100 professionally retouched photos for $600
3 hour session – 150 professionally retouched photos for $900
4 hour – $1,200 – 240 retouched photos
5 hour – $1,500 – 300 retouched photos
6 hour – $1,800 – 360 retouched photos
7 hour – $2,100 – 420 retouched photos
8 hour – $2,400 – 480 retouched photos
9 hour– $2,700 – 540 retouched photos
10 hour – $3,000 – 600 retouched photos
**** Additional images are available for purchase for $10 each. I also offer professional quality prints.
Deposit
I require a contract for all sessions, and a non-refundable 25% deposit for 2 and 3 hour sessions to hold the date.

Event Photography
I offer photography services for parties and other events. Pricing is based on hours and number of photos needed, as well as mileage. Please contact me for an exact quote.
Referrals
There is a 15% discount for new referrals! This is available for both the person who has referred you and the past customer person who gave the referral. Thank you for your business!
Policies
After scheduling, you will receive a confirmation email of your appointment time, prep guide, directions and a basic contract. The contract must be signed prior to the photoshoot. If you have any questions or need something changed, please let me know.
Deposits:
For sessions of 2 hours or more I require a 25% non-refundable deposit toward the final bill. The deposit is due prior to the scheduled photo-shoot.
Payment:
Photo sessions can be paid in cash the day of the photoshoot, or I can email you an invoice directly after the shoot to be paid via credit card. I do not accept checks.
If you would like more images than your package includes, they are $10 each. A second invoice will be sent via email to cover any additional images selected.
All payments must be made in full prior to the release of images.
Late Policy:
Please call or text 330-541-6865 if you are running late or need further directions. I often have back-to-back bookings, so we may need to reschedule.
Cancellations and Rescheduling:
Please give at least 2 days notice for all cancellations. I can always reschedule your appointment to a different day or time!
Weather:
I am unable to photograph if it is raining or snowing, due to potential damage to my camera. I try to give as much notice as possible for cancellations.
Retouching:
My packages all include basic fly away hair removal, eye and teeth brightening and some skin retouching. Please bring a comb or brush and make sure your clothing has been ironed, as I do not provide wrinkle removal or extensive retouching of hair.
Final Photos:
I will email you a link to download and purchase prints of the photos you have selected from your personal Gallery page. Due to storage constraints, galleries are available for two weeks, so please make your selections, download and order prints or canvases within that time.

Questions and Answers
How do I pay for my Session?
You can pay with cash at the photo shoot, or I can send you an invoice with a link to pay online directly after the shoot. Please add 5.75% sales tax if paying with cash.
When will I receive my photos?
You will receive your personal gallery within two weeks after the photo shoot. Once I send the notification email that your personal Gallery is ready for viewing, you have 2 weeks to select your images. I offer high quality prints, photo canvases, prints on metal and digital downloads. First let me know which images you have selected, then you can purchase prints through my online store which is linked to your Personal Gallery, and/or digitally download them.
Do you offer retouching?
Yes, all my photo packages include complimentary light retouching of the skin, teeth and eye brightening, fly-away hair removal and acne removal. I do not offer wrinkle removal for clothing, body modification or other alterations to hair.
Can I order prints of my photos through you?
Yes, I use the highest quality professional printing service for photography. You want a professional printing service for accurate colors and photo quality or your images will not look like they do on screen. I offer photo prints, photo canvases and metal prints in a variety of sizes. After you have made your final image selections, go to the Shop section of your personal Gallery page to order.
What is the best time of day for photos?
If you want outdoor photos, the best lighting of the day is 1 hour before sunset. This is called the golden hour and the light quality is the best then. To calculate the golden hour for a specific day, you can visit https://sunrise-sunset.org/us/
For indoor photos, the best lighting is between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm.
Where are you located?
I live in Strongsville and offer services in a 20 mile radius from there. If you would like photos in a location beyond that distance there will be an additional fee based on the time and mileage involved.
When should I book my Newborn Session?
You will want to schedule within the first 2 weeks after baby’s arrival. Babies are at their sleepiest state, often sleeping 16 hours a day. After the first couple weeks newborns start becoming more alert and awake with each day that passes. Also, the two-week mark is right before the onset of baby acne. Even with the best editing software, it’s tough to edit baby acne so it’s a better set of photos if you catch them before any acne or bumps start forming.
When should I book my High School Senior Pictures?
The best time to book your high school senior pictures is the summer before your senior year. This will allow time to plan your session and ensure you get a spot in my schedule. Peak season is July-October, but we can create beautiful senior pictures during any season!
When should I book my Maternity Session?
Most clients schedule their photo session at between 32 and 34 weeks. It all depends on how much you’re showing and which phase of pregnancy you’d like to capture.
Do you offer Mini Sessions?
Yes, I offer mini sessions year round, with special seasonal locations offered as well. Follow me on social media to find out where the seasonal sessions will be held.
Do you do weddings?
Yes, I do offer wedding packages! As a natural light photographer I prefer shooting in well lit spaces and outdoors, but I do also have a flash.
I need help with outfit planning.
Sure, I’d love to give recommendations on planning your outfit(s) for the photo shoot. I also include a Prep-Guide with some suggestions in my Appointment Confirmation email when you schedule. If you have questions, send me an email at katiescalmato@gmail.com
I want photos with my pet!
I love animals and many of my locations are pet friendly, though all require them to be leashed. Please check my Location Guide before scheduling. Depending on session length and season, you may want to leave your pet in the car for a portion of the session, or bring someone along to be their ‘handler,’ – unless you would like photos with your pet for the full session!
